Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Visited this newly opened seafood hotpot buffet restaurant and really felt like this was SUCH A JEM - there was a really large variety of hotpot ingredients and I loved all their cold dishes and hot seafood dishes. Spicy stir fried prawns and salted egg yolk crabs were amazing. Really value for money if you are a seafood lover. Would definitely visit again!"
"Great place and meal. Despite the menu being a little misleading, overall this place is still good value for money. Just heads up that the all-you-can-eat aspect of this only applies to the help-yourself-bar. You will get only ONE serving of the seafood platter and steamed scallops (as pictured). The help-yourself-bar does have a large variety of vegetables, tofu, fish balls for the hotpot and the egg yolk crab is also part of the help-yourself-bar but it does empty quick if the restaurant is busy. This place is worth visiting and trying out for sure."
"For Birmingham I say this is actually good for what you get in midlands as of now that is. Food is fresh, price is reasonable for unlimited buffet style and drinks + ice cream Wouldn't say it's full of msg, it is applied but not "Full" of it, everyone has different taste bud. Staff is lovely, don't be fooled with there resting face respect, laugh and smile comes a long way. Atmosphere is small but very clean! Highly recommend during winter season and general healthy crave!"
"Hotpot was very good! Delicious soup base with wide variety of ingredient choice. Seafood platter had crayfish and razor clams which were fresh and very value for money. Strongly recommend to try!"
"Recommended by friend for a while and this is our first time visit on Valentine’s Day . £29.9 /pp for adult for dinner (£ £19.90 for lunch before 4pm). First you need to pick two soup base from menu , and staff will come to ask how would you like to cook with the fresh scallop , we had both cheese / garlic styles , you can eat again after finished . The highlight will be a seafood dragon boat that really iconic . All popped to the hot pot for 5 mins and you defo want to have more and more. Besides seafood itself there are many choices of appetisers, desserts , fruits and even soft cream my daughter had 3 rounds of it . Overall was a great experience and worth for money if you a seafood fans ."
"Place isn't very big , staff are friendly and efficient. The hotpot I would say is just average but you are here for the seafood. Seafood platter is nice and has alot of variety, cooked scallops, crab and prawns were all done really good. If you love seafood you need to come"
"This was our first time experiencing Seafood hotpot and it did not disappoint. We were a party of six including 3 children. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. They prepared a surprise cake for my husband- so do mention if there is a birthday in your party as they will play a cultural happy birthday tune too The variety of food is very generous, you’ll not stop eating and will be very full by the end. Would definitely recommend visiting around 2-3 PM as it was really quiet."
"Value for money especially with the wide array of dishes! Staff is attentive and readily topped up the soup for us. Will go back next time"
